7-Night BVI Bareboat Yacht Charter Itinerary
Day 1 - The Bight, Norman Island
Depart from Tortola and navigate the Sir Francis Drake Channel to reach The Bight on Norman Island, the reputed inspiration for Treasure Island by R.L. Stevenson. Explore the Indians for a refreshing swim and snorkeling, then savor your inaugural Caribbean sunset. Choose between an evening at Pirates Bight or the floating Willy T’s for delectable food and laid-back dining.
Day 2 - Cooper Island
Visit The Caves on Norman Island for coral reef snorkeling and vibrant marine life. Sail to Cooper Island, secure a mooring buoy for the night, and indulge in more snorkeling at Cistern Point or unwind on the beach.
Day 3 - The Baths, and Trellis Bay, Virgin Gorda
Arrive early at The Baths to enjoy the stunning rock formations without the crowds. Spend the morning exploring and have lunch amid the impressive scenery. Anchor at Trellis Bay for the night, either dining on your yacht or exploring onshore. Don't miss the monthly full moon parties or the opportunity to purchase local arts and crafts.
Day 4 - Bitter End Yacht Club, Virgin Gorda
Sail to North Sound on Virgin Gorda, stopping for snorkeling at the Dogs or Mountain Point. Anchor at the Bitter End Yacht Club for entertainment, music, and various water activities. Alternatively, visit Leverick Bay or Yacht Club Costa Smeralda for a quieter experience or upscale dining at Biras Creek.
Day 5 - Guana Island and Little Harbor, Jost Van Dyke
Explore the waters off Eustatia Island, snorkel around the reef, or sail to Monkey Point, Guana Island. Enjoy the unspoiled northern shore of Tortola and anchor at Little Harbor or Great Harbour on Jost Van Dyke for a taste of local lobster.
Day 6 - Sandy Cay then Cane Garden Bay, Tortola
Discover the desert island charm of Sandy Cay, collecting shells and enjoying the sea before sailing to Cane Garden Bay for the night. Indulge in dinner at Quito’s, featuring BBQ chicken, ribs, and fish fry, followed by beachside dancing.
Day 7 - Cane Garden Bay and Sopers Hole
Relax or play on Cane Garden Bay's beach before sailing to Soper’s Hole, West End, or Little Harbour on Peter Island. Witness the sunset on your last evening in the BVI.
Day 8 - Tortola
Take a final swim before returning to the base on Tortola. While it's time to bid adieu, the memories will linger, beckoning you to return soon.
